One where the ingredients were mixed as soon as they had been put into the pan the second where the ingedients sat for 6 hours before the breadmaker started to mix. I was initially concerned but noticed considerably less leakage the following day and have since used the breadmaker on 2 occasions. After completing the repair I filled the bread pan with water and did find that there was a small amount of leakage through to the underside of the bread pan. All parts fitted snugly and the lock washer under the bread pan fitted fairly easily although I did invert the bread pan and press the shaft protruding on the inside of the bread pan onto a solid object to force the shaft on the bottom of the bread pan to protude sufficiently far to allow the lock washer to be easily fitted. There was a washer at the bottom of the cavity that looked to be ok but I replaced it with the new washer. The cavity in the base of the bread pan in which the seal sits needed to be carefully cleaned in preparation for the new seal. The degree to which the seal was worn only became apparent when the seal was removed. ![]() The lock washer at the base of the pan needed to be removed and the shaft and seal were then fairly easily removed.
